The better sound quality, huge screen, comfy seats and just sneaking in food/snacks is what makes it fun. I like both honestly- there's a time and place for watching movies at home too LOL. If it's a big blockbuster film, especially sci-fi/fantasy/Marvel ones, I want to watch it in IMAX with the biggest screens and best sound quality. Other movies I prefer to screen at home where I can get comfortable. (Unless it's during the summer, in which case it will be movie theater all the way, for the air conditioning alone.)
