I'm thinking about writing a short story that parodies dramas & their tropes/clichés. Is there any that I missed that needs to be on this list. Are some of these heavily outdated; are there dramas available that already conflict certain tropes/clichés? Do these apply to dramas from other countries in Asia like Japan, Taiwan, China, etc.? Are there tropes/clichés that apply only to South Korea or only to Japan, Taiwan, China, etc.? Are there tropes/clichés from other genres outside of romance that needs to be added? Please let me know b/c again it's been a while. Sweet Peasant GirlXRich Jerk Guy rich jerk guy's mom disapproving sweet peasant girl dramatically coughing out blood = cancer guy violently wrist grabbing girl 2nd love interest for girl that usually get forever friendzoned running out of restaurant w/out paying getting sick after being outside in the rain for only 5 min. girl gets piggyback ride when sick/injured temporary memory loss from head accident that is later cured from another head accident car breaking down in isolated place 1 girl & 1 guy forced to share 1 room & a bed 1 of them dying after the 2 overcoming so much hardship Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
