Backstrom looks like it has a lot of potential.

Wayward Pines is very Twin Peaks-ish looking, a lot of weird for the sake of weird, but that's an interesting cast.

Last Man on Earth could be good, but that's a lot of pressure on one guy to carry an entire show.

Hieroglyph... I want to like it, but the trailer leaves me bored.

Gracepoint... Tennant does a pretty good american accent, but I already saw the british version of this show (this is a remake - Tennant is reprising his role).

Not interested in Gotham, or Empire.

Already active dislike Mulaney just based on that trailer (which is a shame, as I miss Martin Short).

Please be good, please be good, please please be good.

Already a little concerned that he seems to be playing to the 'secret heart of gold' trope.

I've been anticipating Hieroglyph for a minute...

I love ancient Egypt...

I also enjoy fantasy adventure... and creepy .... so.... there we go.
.....wah wah cultural appropriate....

Empire is not my typical go to type show... but i'm going to tune in, if only for the dynamic duo that is Terrence Howard and Taraji P ... also... to support a black cast on primetime network television. Hopefully it's good and I can last more than 3 episodes.

I'd be more interested in Gotham if I didn't get Birds of Prey/ The Cape feels from it. I don't know what's giving me those feels... but i have them. I think live action tv adaptations of Marvel/DC franchise tend to look cheap and be cheesy/soapy (although S.H.I.E.L.D. definitely got better....but still pings on those levels). Doesn't help that i'm not big on DC in general...but the premise is intriguing at least.

I'm here for the trend of chronicling villains (like Once Upon A Time does...and Maleficent) ... so at least Gotham has that going for it. I'm far more likely to check out a Batman franchise series that documents the rise of notorious Gotham villians...than another journey through the rise of its heroes.

Constantine (nbc show mentioned above) is another i'm eager to check out, despite many people's misgivings. It for sure has the capacity to flop hard.... I'm thinking at best, it will be Sleepy Hollow quality...which is fine.

Gotham has a very cool concept and looks like it has a lot of potential. The biggest issue is tie-ins, they will have a vast amount of movies rivalling their story. But overall, my guess is this series is gonna be a huge success.

Not here for Backstrom. We've already seen this series, when it was called House...

Empire looks like it's a modern retelling of King Lear, changing the daughters into sons and the Kingdom of Britain into a record company. Good cast, looks like they have a solid story, it will probably have a very strong season and after that it will retire to become a cult hit.

Gracepoint is coming for Twin Peaks' legacy. So is Wayward Pines. Come on, TV makers, be a little bit more original.

Hieroglyph...no. Go away. OFF COURSE the underdog hero of the story has to be white in a culture that was unfamiliar with people of that skin colour...

Mulaney. Or as I like to call it Seinfeld, Season 11. It will be cancelled by Christmas.

Last Man On Earth seems like fun! Though I have a feeling it will turn out way more different than what I am anticipating now. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

Here for: Gotham, Empire, Gracepoint, Last Man on Earth

Not Here For: Backstrom, Mulaney, Hieroglyph
