BigHit taking legal action against malicious comments about BTS

Not only BigHit but for also other companies. Isn't it a little petty and unnecessary? I personally think it brings out unprofessionalism at its finest.

I don't understand why K-pop does it since it's ONLY K-pop doing it. The rest of the world does not care.

I'm sure western artists receive way worse comments.

Besides, it doesn't do anything. If you don't live in Korea, you're unaffected so the comments are still coming anyway.

Putting aside the fact that it takes a lot of money and requires a lot time, absolutely no country rules against its own citizens when it comes to international battles. They'll try their best to protect their citizens

Plus imagine going to court over a comment on the internet. Korea or not, I bet the Judge and the Jury would laugh

Lmao

So you have to watch people being so fucking rude to you without doing anything?

Even though they are celebrities I’m sure some hate comments put them down. And it’s a constitutional right to sue people, they can sue whoever they want. No one has to stay silent like you want them to.

There are times that it is needed i.e Tablos case for example almost cost him his career. There are comments that are very damaging to the artist reputation that might cost damage to their livelihood. If not else it is mostly for deterent purpose.

No, you should think of the mind set of people reading those comments.

For example when you see people doing those petition to kill themselves or inventing rumours that can destroy their career. NO it's not petty.

Every actions has consequences, you play dirty, you pay the price for it.

you also said you hated Lisa but you just said that "hate comments" bring idols down

you should take your own advice

I only said i hate lisa, I didn’t curse her or put her down etc. lately I’m trying to be cautious of not writing rude stuff. I don’t have to love everyone, I’m showing respect as much as i can.

Idk why you are trying to drag me

No. I hate the fact that terrible ppl are allowed to say terrible things and hide behind the anonimity of the internet and the fact that the person on the recieving end of the hate is famous. People have to be responible for their words and face the consequences

lol I'm not trying to drag, the double standard is pretty funny laugh.png

your giveaway thread didn't have good intentions either and basically hinted that you wanted them to fail but yes I guess it's okay since you didn't "curse" her

You know multiple people in the UK have been jailed over the years for making offensive posts on Facebook and Twitter, so it's not exactly unheard of internationally to be held to account for the things you post online.

You seriously have no taste of humor, it wasn’t that deep. If you click on bashing thread maybe you see what hate comment means. You are overreacting.

I MAY make hate comments and it doesn’t mean that people can’t sue for hate comments. I don’t see the connection at all.

Yes. Because those offensive posts were made about UK-related stuff.

But Korea can NOT have a british citizen jailed. The UK will protect its citizen unless they're like a terrorist or something extreme like that. Not internet comments.
