Random question because I'm curious

Why do some girls/boys for some reason get "jealous" and immediately thinks about their partner's ex whenever their partner talks about something they used to do(even if it does not concern their ex)?

Example: A guy said he used to go to the theme park every month. And the girl will be like "I wanna know who he used to go with. Is it his ex? I wanna know." And keeps asking questions. Vice versa.

It annoys me whenever something like that happens in front of me. Like, not every action your boyfriend does was with his ex, girls. If I was a guy, I'd tell my gf to not talk about my ex cause that's the past, we should focus on us the present. But I guess that's just me lol

Wth is he eating?

Anyways back on topic. I can't stand that. It's like "so did you do that with your ex?" Or people remove certain activities from their lives because it reminds them of their ex. I wanted to go gokarting with this guy and he said "I don't want to do that, my ex liked gokarting"

What?
