I know that some people don't favor video games but it can be a wonderful form of escapism, entertainment, story-telling. It's like the happy middle between movies and books, where you're not simply watching a protagonist or imagining them in your head but you are the protagonist and the progression of the story relies solely on your decision and abilities.
