iKON TV has already aired 8 episodes and each one has been better than the previous. There are several reason for it:

1. iKON have a great chemistry and teamwork, their closeness allows them to be savage or sweet to each other and looking natural. 

2. Each episode has a well established theme, some inspired by other variety shows, some inspired by old idol reality tv shows and some made to suit the PD of that particular episode (the point of iKON TV is that it is self-produced so some of them have been the PDs of an entire episode. In their own episode, the other 6 have to do what the PD wants. For example, Chanwoo is into playing games so for his episode, the boys had to play games to win a bet for an entire day) 

3. The editing. The editing team for iKON TV are amazing. They troll the boys, they diss them, they don't understand their craziness, they gave them nicknames for how lame they are etc.

 

I'll give more examples for some of the themes of the episodes:

 

-interview with experienced YG producers to became the main PD for the teaser for the show (super awkward and hilarious and gives you flashbacks to your own painful interviews for a job)

 

 

 

-public poll to see which member is the most popular with different ages and a painful realization that they need to work on their name recognition

 

 

 

-working part time jobs to get money to film a music video

 

 

 

-Chanwoo PD in charge and that means a day full of games

 

 

 

-Yunhyeong as the main PD which means they have to do 3 Meals A Day type of challenge. Living in a village for a couple of days trying to survive like the city boys they are

 

 

 

-iKON sedated and high was hilarious to watch

 

 

 

-Jinhwan PD putting their characters under a test with different pranks

 

 

 

- B.I PD being in charge to put together a music video but since they didn't have enough money, the female parts in the MV had to be acted by iKON themselves...a mess

This week's episode was so hilarious. The members dressed as girls was a personal highlight. How could bobby be so pretty??

We knew Jinhwan would be pretty and feminine or that Junhoe would be a mess but Bobby was unexpected, the secret weapon, hitting us with that suprising elegance ahmagahplz.png

They surpassed my expectations tbh ..

I don't expect it to be this good ..

 

only disappointed that we likely won't get "bonus songs / performances " ..

Yes, I was expecting something more like self camera while doing their daily routines but they really put in effort to make it interesting not only for fans.

I don't stan but it kept coming up on my youtube recs so I started watching it and it's pretty funny especially the hidden camera prank one

 

I really like Yunhyeong he's hilarious

May I ask if you were watching iKON related videos and that's why it was recommended to you?

My saturdays won't be the same when it ends. 

 

iKON TV has really shown what kind of boys they are. Talented, kind, funny af. Their banter, affection, loyalty and dedication (personal and work wise) towards each other is amazing. We've been blessed.

 

I pray we get season 2 one day, somehow ohdearplz.png

Omg me too! warstarplz.png iKON tv has been so entertaining I make sure I have time during the weekend to watch it on my own and then watch it again with friends

I may be taking this show for granted. And I don't really watch a lot of variety shows, much less idol reality shows, so I have nothing really to compare it to.

 

Sometimes my thoughts go along the lines of "another episode, huh?" - because, commitment issues. But I never regret watching it the first minute in. Nothing ever happens the same way every episode, and it's so interesting to see the dynamics of their relationship as the episodes go by. 

 

I think when the show ends, I'll be binge-watching the whole series just to help the withdrawal lol

Every Saturday, iKON TV new episode is the first thing that comes to my mind. And to think it's gonna end in two weeks... I'm already having a withdrawal. ohdearplz.png

 

iKON TV is one of the best things that ever happened to iKON and iKONICs. Every episode is good and interesting. I love how they really put in a lot of effort to film the show.
