On May, 14th, the official said that Jung Eunji cast on KBS new Mon-Tue drama "Trot Lover" along with actor Ji Hyunwoo.

It's said that Jung Eunji singing & acting are highly anticipated.

I am so glad she is going back to the light dramas with fun feel like Replay 1997. Her role in WTWB was underwhelming and i honestly thought her character didn`t fit the tone of the drama.

 

This is the perfect role for Eunji to showcase not only her acting skills but her singing skills too.

 

And opposite Ji Hyun Woo who is hot and just came out of military,this is gonna be awesome project.

APink's Eunji has been confirmed as the female lead in 'Trot Lovers'! 

 

 

A rep confirmed on May 14, "A Pink's Eunji's casting has been confirmed recently. Only the details are left to be decided. A lot is expected from Eunji due to her singing and acting skills." Eunji will be joining Son Ho Joon, Ji Hyun Woo, and Shin Sung Rok in the upcoming KBS 2TV Mon-Tues drama.

 

 

'Trot Lovers' is a romantic comedy about Choi Choon Hee (Eunji), a woman in her twenties who has a talent for singing trot, and her meeting with Jang Jun Hyun (Ji Hyun Woo), a top musician who helps her become a trot singer.

 

'Trot Lovers' is set to follow 'Big Man' this June.
