BALLISTIK BOYZ is a brand new group that has yet to debut under LDH, their formation was announced in May 2018.

Overall the group consists of 7 members. 4 vocalists and 3 MCs, all of them are “performers†which is a title LDH uses in reference to their dancers. Before even debuting it seems the group already has their first “scandalâ€.

Rumblings that the group was copying South Korean group BTS began to appear on the net and started to spread like wildfire. The story was even reported by the news website Allkpop.

BTS’ “DNA†promo image

The main reasoning for the copying accusations is that they have a hip-hop concept, have 7 members, and that their debut promotional images look very familiar to the ones for the BTS song “DNAâ€. It was also claimed that the group name BALLISTIK BOYS was very similar to BTS, which stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan/Bulletproof Boys.

It was alleged that their name was also “Tado Sonyeondanâ€, which is not only a Korean word but it has never been mentioned in any official media pertaining to the group.

Further false rumors began to spread about the group, the most bizarre being that their group name was officially short for “BTZ†and that the LDH boy group GENERATIONS was in fact a copy of South Korea’s Girls Generation.

This is one of the numerous SNS posts spreading false information.

Other netcitizens were quick to chime in with their confusion, saying how the name accusations were completely false. Furthermore, LDH has been doing the hip-hop/urban concept since the company was formerly established in 2003. The founding groups J Soul Brothers and EXILE got their start in 1999 and 2001.

The founder of LDH HIRO has also been involved in the scene even before J Soul Brothers and EXILE. He got his start in the hip-hop dance unit ZOO, who made their debut in 1991.

BALLISTIK BOYZ are currently the opening act at events for FANTASTICS, another LDH group who has also yet to make their debut

edit: people using this to bash armys , try harder . Literally non fans are more concerned abt the so called plagliarism then armys themselves. Armys have already forgotten abt it.  it isn't even btz

if you thought bts full name is bad, then ballistik boyz is here to one up it

almost every time there's a "plagiarism" controversy it's to give people in the media sme work and to stir shit up so at this point i'm just watching one of the many pointless shits unfold

I have to admit it was weird seeing people 100% making up facts about the group and using that as a receipts that they copied BTS (And no I'm not talking about the fake members names lol, those were funny). I saw some people saying they were debuting on  June 12th despite them not even mentioning their debut date, But then again, stan twt will do anything for retweets

Edit: Just checked the ARAMAJAPAN comments section. They're fed UP with Kpop and kpop stans lmaoooo

Oh so they are not trying to copy BTS? Okay.

But why some people here are acting like only armys believed on these rumors or that it was armys especifically that started these rumors (who started it were the k-netz)?

Some of you all seems to be always looking for the minimal opportunity to bash BTS and armys...

???

But it was a lot of ARMY who were gassing up this rumor as receipts of BTS' impact, even if they weren't being malicious about it. Why would non-ARMY care if a group copied BTS? I do agree though its not really that big of a deal. Just a situation where people should have checked their fact and refrained from making stuff up even for the lulz

So let me get this straight.

Jpop fans made this shit up (girls channel or something like that) -> Pann found out and added more unreliable info and racist comments-> Someone translated pann for int fans who made stupid jokes -> Allkpop made a clickbait article -> Now everyone is saying army started it? How though?

Some of Arama's users has always hated kpop and koreans, it's been like that even before i started going to the site in 2011. That's pretty typical of that place.

time for conspiracy theories hurrplz.png

it would be fun if their company started these rumblings itself. anonymously, ofc.

good mediaplay for free right before debut, isn't it? everyone knows about them now.

honestly this was all jokes, no one was hating on them because this fandom knows how harsh it is when someone accuses others of plagiarism lol it was all harmless and now people are going to watch their debut mv, congrats on the promo.
