They need to promote them Sistar style. Just let them release music in Japan with little promotion and be in S.K for 9 months doing ost's, dramas, cf's, cameos, radio shows, small fan meets. Now is the time to use Loen power and influence. Just flood S.K. with them.

I think she is referring to making their album sales better.

That might work too.

I think having BF in Japan is actually a benefit for Starship because it means they have someone over there if they want to cross-promote someone else.  BoA led the way for SM, why not BF for Starship?

Oh, ok, I get it now, lol.

the best kind of concept for boyfriend in korea is kinda similar to exo.

they need to get them some difficult choreo (fire those basic dq dancers) and give them a banging song with a nice chorus hook.

You might get your wish. I saw on twitter today that DQ is now working with TTS (not 100% sure how truthful that is though)

You woke up. Thanks for coming. I know its after 7am by you.

Yep. nope and almost 10:30 am here so it's fine.

I should've been awake much earlier but I stayed up so late watching dramas online, lmao.

I took an off from today's work as well, lol.

I feel like I missed something...transaction for what? lol

And sorry to hear about your headache.  Hope you can take something for it

It's about how to increase Starship acts' sales. ^^

And nope, it's fine. It's just some minor headache which happens to be my fault anyway, hehe. But thanks for your concern.

Totally agree! It's also about time Sistar had someone else do their choreography too....

That's a reflief. Feel better.

Yes all their album sales are tragic. I think MadC sold just over 1000 copies for his mini

seriously? that explains the terrible choreo in the chorus of holler

Haha lol

DQ can't give Bora the dance break she needs to have in one of their title tracks.

As for sales, I'm going to go out on a limb and say album sales don't matter.  Digitals are the future and I'm waiting for the day I just download some album which I can look at pictures using holography and select songs to listen to as well.

This gave me a laugh. That day should be fun and weird. Yes digitals are the future and album sales have simply beome bragging rights for fans. They don't release that their artists only get 5-10% or less of that profit and the same goes for digitals. They always act like their artists are taking all that money home. Far from it. By the time the company takes out the cost of making the album and their own profit, the artists is left with little

Non-idols' album sales always tend to be on the short side. They don't have a type of fan base that will buy multiple albums and I don't think their album packaging is as eye-popping.

This is just my opinion.

i dont think its like that how work to a "nugu" group from a small company go big.

Like every male group who is under a smal compaby has something special or unique about them, and maybe, i think thats why they are sucessful.

But of course all of that can help too.

Yeah, that's in the distant future I'm sure, lol.  Honestly, if Starship just released digital booklets in PDF format when you bought the whole album digitally, I think most people would be fine with it.  As it is, the only reason I'm buying physical albums (aside from signatures) is for pictures.

Oh wow that would be an awesome idea. Or if they make it digital-like everything. If you could buy it on a site that the booklet/photos would come with the music. Like if you buy the full album on iTunes, then you could buy it with the booklet for lets say $10.00 or $12.00 (or the plain album by itself for 5.99 well isnt that the cost of a mini) especially for international fans. That would get rid of the cost for shipping and many fans would just purchase the ebook w/music. If you get what i mean. And they could completely change the music scene and maybe just make five thousand limited edition hard album copies. That would be mich more profitable.

The world is digital now. That would be great.

The album is 19.99 plus shipping. OVer $30.

However if its digital everything could be under $20. That would make it more accessible for everyone.

Yep. These kind of stupid headache normally goes away in less than an hour or so.

Wow, 1k? Oh well, what about his digital sales though?

Since physical sales really determines the fandom power and Starship acts don't really have that power because they cater to older audience - which explains their high digital sales.

But I hope they'd still produce some physical album - so that fans can have something as a memento.

Yeah, we just solved the album issue for Starship. :)  Nega Network did release a digital booklet like that if you downloaded the full album of Sound-G from BEG and it made me wish companies would just do that.

Not sure what his digital sales were.

I think Jada covered it nicely with the limited edition albums. ;)

Unless you buy it from MWave, then it's $24.99 with shipping.  But yeah, something like $12-15 for a digital album with a 100 pages of pictures would certainly sell.

It's true, I follow a couple of DQ dancers and they've tweeted pictures, etc..

Although I doubt that this means they're off limits from now on. It did kinda baffle me as to why SM is using them since they're known to work with more world-class choreographers..

maybe it's

True but still. A lot of Starship fans are adults with responsibilties. If the cost can be brough down then it helps. Also oyu can carry your digital album around and show people etc etc.

Yeah, I think we both know about being adults with responsibilities. ;)  Yeah, anything to bring down the cost helps.  As it stands now, I just send links to people for them to check out Sistar's music.  I think it would be better to be able to not only have people listen to music, but see what the artists look like too.
