STARSHIP ENTERTAINMENT

Starship Entertainment was first founded in 2008 by an ex-road manager by the name of Kim Shi Dae. When the company started out they had approximately 3 employees. The first artistS of the company were K.Will, Moon Ji Eun and Lee Hyun Ji (both women who later left the agency before it rose to prominence). Sistar, the agency’s biggest stars came along and debuted in 2010. It can be argued that the members of Sistar made the company a household name which pushed the company to the success it basks in today. Then other groups followed with Boyfriend in 2011, MonstaX in 2015 and Cosmic Girls in 2016 with solo artists such as Mad Clown, Jung Gi Go, Jooyoung, Yoo Seung Woo, Brother Su, Choi Won Myeong (solo actor) and #Gun joining in along the way, interwoven between the debut years of the groups.

As the company grew in size, they grew in partnerships and new endeavors. Their first strategic partnership was with Loen Ent. In 2014 followed by Yuehua in 2014 and in 2015 they acquired 100% stake in King Kong Ent. An acting agency, officially merging and becoming one company in January of 2017. King Kong is comprised of talent veteran actors and variety personalities such as  Kang Eun Ah, Kim Bum, Kim Ji An, Kim Ji Won, Park Min Woo, Park Hee Soon, Oh Ah Yeon, Oh Hye Won, Yoo Yeon Seok, Yoon Jin Yi, Lee Kwang Soo, Lee Dong Wook, Lim Ju Eun, Jang Dong Hyun, Cho Yoon Woo, Cho Yoon Hee, Ji Il Joo, and Han Min. Going forward the company will be none as Starship Entertainment, keeping its' very own debut name but there will be two departments. The music department and the acting department that will be known as King Kong by Starship (formerly King Kong Entertainment.).

Haha lol. I dont really know their songs so i cant really comment. I see a lot of their fans complaining of a lack of Korea promotions that's why i said that.
