omg theres this small cafe-like restaurant. its more like a breakfast/lunch place than traditional restaurant cuz it closes at like 3pm kek. and it has this sign at the front that says "cash only" and i think ab it every time i walk past it (twice a day) bc like. how do ppl know how much cash to bring, does anyone come in, see the prices, go to atm, and come back...

though i carry cash, and prefer to pay with it tbh, swiping my card gives me anxiety

super super suuuuuuper annoying... but sometimes feasible depending on the establishment. but what really grinds my gears are the restaurants that only accept cash and THEN have an ATM IN THE RESTAURANT WITH LIKE A 3.50 DOLLAR FEE BGFJHFBGHFBKJFJKHBKYJK that's when i take my business elsewhere.

a lot of people still carry cash on them...

and there's a convenience fee that I've heard restaurants have to pay when they charge cards and some restaurants just don't want to deal with that, especially if they're a new business and don't have much funds. Some restaurants also don't have a credit machine readily available yet (such as when they first open) or their POS isn't working and so they temporarily have to be cash only. There's a boba place nearby that used to be cash only for years and it's only this year that they finally began to accept credit cards. There's also a Japanese ramen place nearby that's cash only but the restaurant seems to be run by an elderly couple so it's understandable that they would only take cash.
