Which groups do you think will also get the benefit of BTS new found glory in west?

BTS new found glory in west has made BTS fandom bigger than ever, winning billboard award, guest appearance on 'Ellen DeGeneres Show', their latest MV youtube view reach around 40 millions in just 24 hours, etc, some of this new fans are still new to Kpop and probably will curious to other kpop group beside BTS.

Which groups do you think will also get the benefit of BTS new found glory in west?

the real question is how many people have converted to the K-pop life since last year solely because of BTS's non stop exposure

I would say blackpink, if promoted right which we know how likely that is smh, could do very well... they have the appeal. 

 

Also a few other groups who are popular already but tbh idk how likely the trickle down effect is gunna be. Unless BTS really REALLY blows up and busts down the door for everyone else I don't think we will see too much increase in popularity of kpop.

NCT, since their music has some variety due to the different concepts and units maybe they might get into NCT (or just one unit) after they find the unit that they like the most

Stray Kids, these kids have a pretty good Rap line, a lot of western people love Hip hop so

Blackpink, they're already famous in the west so it's not impossible

Maybe NCT since they've done some Billboard interviews and have a similar sound to BTS...SM has the money to promote them, but the question is whether or not they'll take the risk to do so. For girl groups, Blackpink. They have fluent English speakers and with 5H disbanding some of those fans might want a new group to stan. Who knows though, anything is possible.

got7 or monsta x maybe? blackpink would benefit a bit too, but since they're a girlgroup that's already getting more popular in the west on their own, the association is pretty blurry.

for people saying nct... nct has 18 members. bts has 7 members. americans already thought bts has too many members, nevermind a group more than double the size of bts. so nct rising there would be difficult, even with bts getting popular
