As we all know idols don't make a lot at all, to compete in music shows the company has to pay for the stages; and there were incidents were idols paid out of their own pocket for certain things and staff. there was a time Shin said he was saving up to buy a pair of jeans/pants. and a time when it when Seyoung's birthday everyone chipped in to buy him expensive headphones (he likes pricey stuff) that when he thought he lost it, everyone went looking for it. on another seyoung's birthday yongseok's mom paid for his present from yongseok which was new sneakers and i think she paid for dinner for all of them. amuse contract could work differently than the korean companies but they have a korean branch so..??? if they do do it like korea than cross gene is likely very in debt. because i think it was AOA the year they got big/popular, it was said they "broke even", not even making money just "broke even" that they were not in debt anymore and could start making money in the positive range. yes their highest for noona you was 2nd place, behind teen top. but with noona you, they won an award in taiwan! do you mean peak for all comebacks? no no just the most recent peak on music shows and charts (even if out of top 100 which is most probably like that) i know idols get lots of debts, it's unfortunate they have to be so careful with money when they work so hard Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Probably the only one who hasn't is Sangmin because he didn't get many activities as a solo until last year with MOTF and this year with his first solo photoshoot. Shin has had CFs and adverts for a lot of things, as did Taku. Seyoung is kind of a little bit everywhere: OST, musicals, tv shows etc. Yongseok also constantly has musicals these days. He's been in 3 this year alone. As for their charting, they entered MelOn top 100 with INAB in 2014 thanks to Abnormal Summit colleagues and they peaked with it at #66, which is pretty decent. Gaon charting is pretty easy to backtrack with, Mirror was at #2 monthly for that. They charted on Mnet and another chart if memory serves me right with Black or White (you'd have to look at tweets from crossgene_asia; I could also ask Summer for you). Also, they've been nominated three times for music shows, the first time being Play With Me, and the other 2 times with Noona You. They actually would have had their first win with Noona You in 2016 had Paypal not fucked over and only sent in half the Chinese votes for Tudou, we were very close and got 2nd place. However we still had over 4,000 dollars of votes that Paypal didn't send. :( They didn't promote on The Show in 2017 with Black or White likely because they banned CandY from entering (for no explainable reason lol) Touch It was #8 on Mcountdown last I checked as well, the highest for the promotions. They weren't nominated for The Show this past promotion with Zero unfortunately. They were top 3 on Starpass various times, but just many competitors. mayhaps cause they knew candy would send shit loads of money to tudou how many registered to their fan cafe? You can register for their Daum cafe if you haven't already. I also had trouble the first time I signed up a few years back Use your daum email to do verification and follow the instructions on here right to the end.. If it is not exact they won't do it.. Don't forget to copy paste the checklist into the email where it tells you to. A lot of CandYs kept hitting a wall there coz they forgot to copy/paste Ok other stuff The Show nominations Play With Me: 3 (a 4th and 2x5th) Noona You: 2 (2nd and 3rd) Charting: Melon: INAB 66th INAB, PWM, Noona You, White Mind and Black Or White also all charted on Mnet, Bugs, Olleh, etc at various places. Music Show charts Touch It and Noona You have both peaked at 8th on M Countdown chart. On the debt thing - I know that had/have a BEP. However I don't know who would still have one. Caspers it appears was paid off after Battle of Hip Hopera, But who, if anyone, still has one I can't be sure. But they really don't get paid much.. like rn on things like those fan events in tower where they sit there ALL day taking photos and signing albums for hours on end, their cut of that is at best about $1000 each.. Best case scenario... And that's in Japan. Being a celebrity isn't the 100% easy street 100% of the time knetz paint it out to be - especially when they're less known..
