The visual teaser for '"Amazing -Bad Lady-'" features shots of the members in a pure, dazzling white version of themselves, raising fans' expectations for what the group could have in store. The teaser picture doesn't tell us much, except that the boys seem to have wild hair and are going shirtless for their concept. But now we do know that this will be a domestic Korean release, their first since about 2 years ago in June 2012. The digital single "Amazing -Bad Lady-" will be out on the 14th, so stay tuned! The song is a medium tempo dance song with a dynamic drum sound, highlighting Cross Gene's masculine sexiness perfectly. "Amazing -Bad Lady-" is Cross Gene's first Korean song in 2 years since "TIMELESS' in 2012. The song is originally by Andreas Carlsson, the same composer behind NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye", and it was edited by Shinsadong Tiger. The MV for the song is by Visual Director Lee Ki Baek, the same person behind Trouble Maker's Now and G-Dragon's "A Boy". Their label revealed, "The choreography for their digital single 'Amazing -Bad Lady-' was deemed unsuitable for both the mainstream and the cable channels, so they had to edit their choreography. The move where they use their shoulders and pelvis has been deemed inappropriate." The boys will be dropping a summery new Japanese track, "Future," on January 14! The single seems bright and cheery, a sweet love song in which the boys express how happy they are thanks the object of their affections. In the dance video released, the matured boys of Cross Gene swiftly move to the beats with ease. The part where the boys nonchalantly strum their air guitars particularly draw attention. As a guest on the most recent episode of 'Quiz to Change the World', he revealed how that happened. Shin was first asked, "It seems like your popularity is really amazing in Japan?" He admitted, "I am kind of amazing," making the studio laugh. They also mentioned that they thought Takuya was the leader, and Shin explained, "When we debuted, Takuya was the leader, but after we finished our first album promotions, since his age is in the middle of the group, he said the burden was too much. That's when I said, 'You can quit [being leader], I'll do it.'" When asked what the positive points of being a leader are, he answered, "Having a strong say? The name was revealed on Cross Gene's official fan cafe as well as the call to registration for official 1st generation Destiny! The meaning of the name comes from the fact that the meeting of Cross Gene and their fans was destiny. Congratulations to Cross Gene and Destiny, who have waited patiently for the name for 4 years. The notice reads: "Hello. We urgently give you notice on the change of the official fan club name and the recruitment schedule that was announced today. We thought deeply about making 'Destiny' the fan club name. We chose 'Destiny' as the fan club name because we wanted the fans to fill the empty spot of the 'Destiny Gene,' have you guys be the seventh member of the group, and be forever together with Cross Gene as Cross Gene's fateful existence. However, there is already a fandom name similar to 'Destiny' and because we judged that there could be a controversy over the rights, after we held a meeting, we decided to alter the fan club name and fan club recruitment schedule. Fans are the most precious existence to Cross Gene and other fan clubs are also precious to their respective groups. We want to deliver a formal apology for making fans distressed due to our deficient research. Cross Gene's Takuya and former KARA member Jiyoung have both shared photos from their upcoming Japanese movie, 'Kataomoi Spiral'! 'Kataomoi Spiral' will be Jiyoung's first lead role in a film as well as Takuya's return to acting since his role last year in Mnet's 'The Lover'. The movie tells the story of Soyeon (played by Jiyoung), who is physically born a girl but is mentally and emotionally a boy. In the story, Soyeon falls in love with her roommate Yuki, while Yuki likes Soyeon's friend Hajime (played by Takuya), who is in love with Soyeon. What a love triangle! Sometimes male idols can be cruel to their fellow members and this time was no different when Cross Gene's Sangmin told on air that Takuya is a huge fanboy of Hani. During latest airing of 'Dream Team,' the MC said to Takuya, "Your members said that half the views on Hani's fancam was probably Takuya," to which Takuya aggressively denied and said, "I'm not here to talk about this." However, Sangmin confirmed, "It's true. I room with Takuya and he looks up Hani's fancam late into the night. I think even last night... it was around 4 AM."
