MoreTokyo 1,008 Posted May 12, 2014 Share Posted May 12, 2014 Last month, for a Pepsi ad campaign, Janelle Monáe released a cover of David Bowie’s beyond-classic “Heroes.†She also reportedly filmed an interactive video for the song in Rio de Janeiro, with an assortment of global soccer heroes making cameos. This isn’t that. Instead, director Alyssa Pankiw has put together a video about a group of bullied misfit kids who, taking inspiration from a fake comic book about Monáe, overcome their oppressors.
