I would never in my life be okay with ANYONE assuming my sexuality, assuming how's my sex life and who's my boyfriend and whatnot It is absolutely disgraceful. It is absolutely insulting. That topic is straight up attempts at OUTING gay idols Outing a gay person could seriously hurt them. If they believe that an idol they follow could be non hetero, nothing is wrong with discussing it with people who may understand. As long as they don't come out forcing others to think such and such idols are gay, I don't see the issue. co-ups 1,389 Posted May 29, 2018 Share Posted May 29, 2018 at least it should be named just "shipping thread" and moved to the random section. i actually read it as the most shipp-y thread in here. like the moment a "stated gay" does something with someone of the opposite sex and suddenly this is all faking and their company is making it up... you know there is a bit of delusion edit: clearly a lot of you don't agree and i'm kind of sorry because it might have come as rude when i actually read the gay/lesbian thread and even wrote a whole post about my favorite group. i see almots every comment as /shipp-y/ is because i think we don't know the idols and to believe we have the absolute truth just by what we (are allowed to) see is weird. i do believe a lot of them could be gay because being gay is possible, love goes beyond woman-man and idols get exposed to different views on homosexuality by traveling and playing around with the ship culture, not because "x" seems gay in dates y,z and b. sorry if my post offended any of you or it seemed rude.
