So my school was built in the late 1930s, ww2 era lol.

 

There’s these stairs in the back of the school and when I asked my friend where those lead to she was like “oh yeah that’s the bomb shelterâ€

 

I mean considering the era I shouldn’t be surprised but like wut lol

My school was founded in 1326 and is the one of the oldest schools in the UK, dw about it. It has been built on, but there's still some of the old buildings. They're all slanty and you can't really keep furniture in them well, because it all just falls over lmao

my elementary school had one of those too, its common for that era. even in the 1950s they were big on the bomb shelters i remember an older relative telling me about hiding in a basement and how lucky i am you know all that...
