Solar - mamamoo has quite the following in korea and solar's always been pushed the most but she hasn't really done anything relevant. hwasa's recent collab overshadowed her solo projects who else? He had the second highest ranking between BTS members. He is also popular in the fandom and have a lot of stans I would say. The model girl from ygk and her partner had higher viewer ratings than any of their episodes. Also what exactly is her impact then? her dramas alone don't even get good ratings and both flopped terribly. The media even focused Moon Ga Young's supposed relationship with Woo Do Hwan. You ain't convincing me otherwise that Joy is popular when she's not known for anything other than WE GOT MARRIED bullshit. The we got married girl. Sugarman 2, Her Ranking every month, the fact that she gets Acting Roles and so on. Just because her drama flopped, doesn't mean that she isn't popular lol. Even Hyeri's Drama flopped despite being incredibly popular for Reply 1988. There are a lot of other parts that are relevant for the success of a drama. The fact that Joy is every month in the top 20 of the Female Brand Reputation is literally the proof, that people care about her and that she is relevant. The fact that she is from Red Velvet (and doesn't get overshadowed by the other members, as they are not many anyway) is reason enough for her popularity. People who follow Kpop, know Joy and that's a great example of her popularity. Putting Joy and not popular in one sentence is absolutely ridicilous. I always thought he's at the bottom when it came to popularity I wouldn't say that this is wrong, but in popularity I think they all are pretty similar, no one is crazily more popular than the others. Maknae line has more stans but Hyung line also has a lot of stans. Honestly if you asked me to rank them by popularity I don't think I would be able to do it and think that the ranking is accurate.
