Queens of promoting healthy diets!

Recommended Posts

This was in their Marie Claire interview that recently came out

In their interview, AOA opened up about their individual promotions, dieting, their comeback album, and more! On how they're each dieting for their comeback, Jimin said, "We don't starve like we used to, we all have more experience now." Seolhyun added, "I don't starve. Especially starting this year, I'm trying to eat small meals often. I love meat and hate vegetables, but I try to eat more vegetables and I work out hard. Working out is key."

akp translated but let's not give them views :ninja:

I'm really happy they're not starving anymore. I'm sick of those kpop diets some idols keep promoting and it's time to switch things up to something healthy that won't negatively impact their health. Way to go girlies~

I don't remember if it was AOA... but there was a girl who was on a water diet....a fucking water diet...

It's nice to see AOA eating healthier nonetheless, when will other companies realize

That's Mina...from AOA. They used to have such unhealthy diets I'm happy they changed that and are now promoting a healthier lifestyle. The things these companies make these girls go through are just sick.

Exactly. Hopefully things can now change as more idols promote healthier diets. I know Soyou does, now the AOA girls and hopefully many more to come.

Do you think that Choa's departure was a wakeup call for FNC?

I can't even wrap my head around the logic behind it... Idols have hectic schedules, how the hell do higher ups expect them to be their best if their bodies aren't being nourished properly?

But I agree with you nonetheless

Not really. I think with more seniority and more success they got to choose to do whatever they wanted. When AOA debuted they were powerless. They had a show called Chungdamdong111 and there's a clip where that FNC manager was literally yelling at Seolhyun for eating with others. She weighted over 50kg and it was considered too much for them. It was sick and she was so young.

Now she can afford to eat better and have a healthier lifestyle because they're not nugus anymore and they're a senior group the company now respects (which is sad in a way cuz that means the new FNC GG will go through hell as well). It's confirmed cuz they said FNC even listened to them for the first time in the choice of their outfits and overall concept. They were given the chance to give their opinions after 7 years...

That’s good. And a healthier lifestyle lasts longer than just starving yourself for comebacks, anyway. It teaches you good habits and you won’t have to suffer. I hope all Kpop artists and people wanting to lose weight in general will try healthier options that won’t harm themselves
