If you are patient enough to sit through all the boring surveys and are truthful aka don't make up answers, you get a lot. I usually made 10 dollars/a week and got paid via paypal, 20 if I could sit through the boring hour long car surveys that either Toyota or Honda puts out almost every week trying to see what consumers like. I did this when I was pretty broke and it helped. The downside is the sheer amount of info you give about yourself. Your information is power to these advertisers. At my old uni, the psych honours students paid participants $10-20 per session. They always don't have enough participants which is why they made it mandatory for undergrad students to be participants in first year.
