GirlBye 27,959 Posted May 20, 2018 Share Posted May 20, 2018 so I'm applying for a job through a British employer (I'm American) and just need some clarification since I want to make sure I enter everything in correctly so on the education section it says to enter in my "Grade / Score / Class" I'm assuming this just means my GPA? Puto 1,972 Posted May 20, 2018 Share Posted May 20, 2018 There’s no GPA in the UK but I think just put your high school years start to finish and what grades you got in all your subjects do the same for higher education too eg college/university. We don't have GPA so it's ur actual grade a b c score 1-100 class is the subject ok so i'm looking at how to convert my gpa to the uk system and i found this chart do i just select the category that fits my gpa and write that down, or the actual score that correlates with the category? thanks for the help! To be honest that looks unnatural to me when apply for jobs here they just ask about your education not second upper/lower or whatever that is I’m sorry I can be no more help to you from this point on but I hope you fill out the application properly. blossoms 4,722 Posted May 20, 2018 Share Posted May 20, 2018 We only use 1st class, 2nd class etc at the end of a university degree to class what your degree is in. our university grades usually are like b2 which means you scored 17 out of 23. If its high school grades I have no idea, it depends on the system but don't use 1st class 2nd class on those because that is never used. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
