It really doesn't~ I-Fans drop EXO every day, have been for the past couple years. If people aren't about whatever the comeback ends up being and drops, it won't matter much~ I-Fans have always been extremely fickle~ K and C-Fans don't usually drop a group that easily, especially after 6 years~

 

I'm sure it won't be a concern tho since most people are just thirsty for new songs at this point~ 

you give them too much credit for loyalty IMHO, I mean, yeah, core fandom will stay and it is more important and more powerful than a bunch of i-fans, but it is only core fandom which is smaller than fandom now, new scandal, new shiny thing, enlistments - and they are gone. Look at elfs - where all their power gone? I mean, SuJu is still touring and their fandom still goes strong, but it is not comparable to the past. And look how fast are fansites masters to change their bias. 

Overall I agree that i-fans are not important, considering SM never promoted EXO on west, barely held concerts there, never reached out for western collabs, they won't loose much without us~

tbh the logo styling doesn't feel good in my books, I'm sitting here afraid it will be too extra or cringey.    I hope it's something smarter and cooler than just "super cool" shots of them sitting on bikes or cars with cocky smiles doing drifts in slowmo   Not a fan of too-in-your-face concepts, like "bike concept"=MV with bikes and racing, it's too '00 

Also I'm all for bops and bangers, but seems like Koreans are really mellow rn so cool upbeat ballad would have more chances to hit, but we will see.
