But i think it'll be after chuseok, otherwise why the long gap after snsd. 

 

I know many are saying they're aiming for ot9, but yixing has been working on his album/songs the last few weeks, and xingmis are saying october release again. I don't want to raise my hope up too much

I think that's why they didn't mention Lay's album in October? What if this schedule is only till September?

Oh I can see the D and E CB and the dream cb happening by the end of this month.

 

And SNSD unit is surely gonna be treated like a non event (yes fk SM) so they would be the first week of September. Then exo after mb in Berlin?/mid September. And NCT 127 in the last week of September..?..

 

Hmm and then RV(idk will it be a single?) in October first week and NCT China in the same early october.

So that we get late October, Nov and December free. I am sure we will get something from shinee (a repack/Taemin album), then another something from NCT (which is still unrevealed the '?' in their latest teaser) and an exo winter album/repack? And something about the new gg while RV will tour the fourth quarter.

Lay maybe in October too and SM will surely use him to promote the new n*t unit and exo will overlap scheds with SNSD so that Yoona can go viral among the Korean gp for bopping to the new EXO song and also with 127 so that Chanyeol can post group photos with them on his instagram and sm can get them that 16 million follower promo.

But then why include nct china if it's just korean releases...it'd be dumb for nct china to release a korean song 

 

Anyway, Lay's promotion is usually handled by the studio (i think), so SM probably don't need to worry about that.

I think it's more smart for SM to push nct china when Lay isn't releasing his album. This way he can host the showcase or bring them to happy camp or smtg. 

 

I don't know anymore about how Yixing will fit in, unless his album is much earlier than we expect.

 

If you remember my pm to you, SM only have older groups, rv and nct to depend on when exo and shinee are enlisted. I think SM purposely made this lineup so fans won't expect much from exo/shinee anymore.

Csvsv I didn’t see nct China ok.. but yea I think the studio operates pretty independently and Yixing even uses a lot of his own money for it so. That could be the case[emoji848]

let's be patient this month before lashing out on others... since its not anyone else group's fault... although tbh SM is making it impossible by being so frustrating.

 

Hey, on the brighter side, we are getting station singles soon so lets refocus the energy there. Also, the wait just helps build up the anticipation and prevents the possibility of Oversaturation on behalf of EXO. I only hope that all this wait is WORTH IT.

Idk i just feel SM atm has just SOOOO MANY active GROUPS... some comebacks get treated secondary and overlapped with more anticipated comebacks. .. it is kinda inevitable but also pointless.. since in the greed of putting out more material for their concerts, SM starts giving out half assed concepts to its older groups(Like S*SD' last cb, S*Ju since 2015?, Shin**'s this year comeback series). I just hope that's not the case with EXO.

 

On the other hand the R*V and N*T spam recently might go in the opposite direction, leading to oversaturation. Sometimes you have to give ppl a chance to miss you. In that sense, EXO has an advantage.

However, like I said, all of this 'exclusivity' strategy falls apart if the wait is NOT worth it and they vanish as soon as they appear. Also, the fact that the rumors of enlistments are making it even a more painful wait, (besides the constant suspense and drama about OT9). Yeah, its only a matter of time the pot boils over and its gonna get ugly for SM family.

I don't think it matters if we're near snsd or nct. We still have better physical and digital sales. And so far SM has sent each group to weekly idol or other shows, so we can expect some variety too for exo.

 

We just don't know who our competition will be for October from other companies. I'd rather have exo perform well on charts and make new accomplishments than dwell on SM

This is just my opinion but I honestly don't see why people are so angry... They couldn't have possibly come back any earlier this year bc of their solo schedules and even if they had somehow managed to pull it off it would've been super tiring for the members and people would've been on sm's case about overworking them. Like yes we all hate sm and they're totally useless when it comes to promoting exo but it's really hard to make the members' current schedules work. I get that people are angry about the possibility of exo getting just one comeback this year cause we're used to getting a full album + repack + winter album but let's see how it goes. Maybe they just didn't put it in the presentation ? Maybe they have something else planned ? I say let's wait and see how this comeback goes before we start throwing hands. I really don't like the way some exo-ls on twitter are attacking other sm groups and starting arguments about who's more relevant or who deserves more attention... The 2013 exo-l behaviour jumped out lmao

Like they could go on a two year hiatus but their comebacks are always anticipated and they always deliver. You don't see them much when they're not promoting but when they come back they actually PROMOTE
