Up to this day I have no idea of what SM was trying to do with that emoji... I was thinking it would be the start of their teasing period or the announcement of their comeback, but after all these delay shenanigans, it doesn't seem to make any sense.

Nct is gonna overlap with them first half of oct i doubt they will do that... And otherwise they will overlap with yixings album..... I honestly dont understand why they didnt cb this month...it was literally one of the free-est months in kpop this year.. Only big group release was like..got7.

In October there is like so much competition everywhere...

In korea= tonnes of soloists cb...!! .IU... Zico.. Bobby...Soyou....and ofc theres twice too. Digitals are going to be tough ugh.

 

In terms of western promo...sm literally has stacked its own groups= Wendys rumored station collab with john legend...127 + Lay on the Mj collab with jason derulo + bp and dua lipa collab (maybe)

 

In China...theres the possible nct China thing...and even Lay himself.

 

In japan Taemins own jpop album and mv will release early october...

 

And theres so many festivals booked in the last week of October...and even cbx schedules in first week of nov....what is tHIS plan...@SME

 

And then comes November..which has like...all the award shoes + RV + Blackpink+ w1 cb...

They never did that for EXO. EXO fans get crumbs. Baekhyun would do good on variety shows. But no, SM would rather keep the EXO members hidden

They did that but for 2013 exo.

 

You see I think we have the right to complain but we need to control ourselves. We know that SM has treated EXO as exclusive compared to the rest of their groups..we kind of had a lot of special stuff for ourselves too.

 

We got EXO Showtime. We got EXO next door. We got those expensive ass pathcodes. We got 10 individually designed album covers. We got drama versions. We were the first ones to get the twitter emoji. We get a winter album every year with a high produced mv. EXO being popular is a blessing and a curse. And individually we got exo members with several acting deals of their choice.

It is super crazy when it comes to maintaining and managing them. Sometimes they do it right and several times they are insufficient.

 

I know we love to narrate that sm is sabotaging exo for nct...but i dont feel it yet. Till now its only one sided. Tbh i feel its just SM mismanaging both of them.

 

I will only conclude it after seeing how this upcoming exo cb gets treated by sm and kpop.
