CJEM is weird though. I don't think he is having any collabs. It might be for his drama with park shin hye which is coming soon. He was filming for it yesterday according to staff pics.

Apparently they're using Superstar PC for smtown. Not sure if it's normal or not, but people are saying it's from exodus era. Some fans want to trade for Lay pc but idk if they do sell/give that out.

I think everyone is getting ahead of themselves. Exo isn't a 2 years old group, SM doesn't need to do a pre-teaser anymore.

 

I think they'll start teasing after Macau, so I'm not expecting anything for the next 2 weeks. In meantime, let's enjoy the sun!

 

Anyway, which song would you like to hear in English if exo ever release a version?

 

I think most of the members are getting better in english (not sure who'd be the worst). I'd love to hear one of their peppy songs in English, like Don't Go or Peter Pan, because they always have one classic song from first album in every concert, and it'd be nice if international fans can sing along to it. I don't mind if they made an English ver of their title track, but I wouldn't put so much hope into them performing it.

I kinda want to hear them sing the eve in English even though Henry already did it lol but I’d love to hear the boys too.

I was mentioning in the other thread that SM will most likely give 10 days gap (like how d&e cb is 10 days after rv). I'm betting it'll be one of these dates. We'll omit Aug 26 cos we already know Aug isn't possible.

Chuseok is from the 22nd-26th and broadcasters usually break from live shows and idols usually get a vacation. So unless sm plans to do only a week promo or EXO’s not getting a break then sept 5 seems likely. That or early October even... but first week of sept def

Chen and baek said they’ve recorded 6 songs already so it’s looking like September if they’re actually mentioning it now. We’ll probably get an official announcement by next week or dot macau

1. Which stage of depression are you at? 

 

I made a playlist of every group, unit, and solo mv in order by member from 2012-2018 and im gonna just marathon them from most recent to debut era .... like im dying lmao 

2. What is your speculation on enlistment rumors? Do you think this might be the last 'full' (at least ot8) comeback before xiumin enlist? Are you delusional enough to believe they won't enlist until 2020? 

I'm preparing myself for the worst rn... I'm not sure who to believe since some people are saying since he's in a phd course they would make him go after he's done. I personally don't believe that but we'll see before the year ends... but i know the travel limit is in effect right now so apparently xiumin can only travel 5x internationally within a 6 month period (and this macau con probably counts as 1 rip) 

 

and also i heard he was tearing up during cbx japan tour...which kind of makes me think so yea..im preparing for the enlistment announcement

3. What is your reaction if SM suddenly says 'we decided to give 3 days farewell concert in korea, gift album, and no promotion'?

 

i wouldn't like it because im an international fan and america hasn't seen exo since early 2017 basically and we're nearing 2019  and kfans have been getting annoying with their entitlement and possessiveness. and personally i love promotions and music shows and I actually do rewatch them. ofc there are downsides to them because they wake up pretty early just to do them, but exo doesn't need multiple takes so they get them done pretty quickly.

 

so i think i would really rather have gift album + promotion and no concert lol but instead a reality show or maybe a 1 day con but its less of a concert and more of a fanmeeting like "exo love in dome" was

wow but sep 15 gets dangerously close to junmyeons schedule which starts sep 18. i mean.. they have to wake up super early to do music shows and his musical probably ends by midnight.. he'd be so overworked.

if comeback is not the first week of september it would have to be october imo cuz then they can fit in at least 2 weeks of promo.

Apparently snsd unit is also in aug/early sept, according to taeyeon's hint (or late summer as the article says). I'm also forgetting about full suju in sept. So maybe aug 26 nct, sept 5 snsd, sept 15 / sept 26 (suju or exo can be interchangeable). Seeing how Suho has no musical shows in sept 15 week, I'd assume exo will be comeback that date, but they could also do it after chuseok.

 

im looking forward to seeing exo handling interviews when suho isn't there though. 

 

Just saw DMC festival doesn't have exo yet, so it's definitely not the first week of Sept. (Usually they go to DMC i think?)

apparently xingmis have been saying he'll release his solo album in october around his birthday like always. Tbh i thought he would release it right after sheep alan walker remix/relift/mv comes out on the end of august (but they probably know more than me so.. idk)

 

People are saying he might be filming the mv for sheep remix in perth, australia. i wouldn't be surprised. Australia has a lot of sheep...lol

I think suho’s musical goes through October but we haven’t actually gotten his October schedule yet..just the September one which is sep 18-28 (he even works during chuseok ;-;)

 

Ksoo will have been done with the drama by the time it airs because it’s preproduced. He’ll probably have a few promo schedules for it leading up to sep 10 but I doubt it will interfere

Anyway, Lay's promotion is usually handled by the studio (i think), so SM probably don't need to worry about that.

 

Csvsv I didn’t see nct China ok.. but yea I think the studio operates pretty independently and Yixing even uses a lot of his own money for it so. That could be the case[emoji848]

I know you think Marz is usually only bulshitting, but once he said that higher-up in SM thinks that we enjoy Japanese discography more so korean albums should be more like Japanese ones and ths scares me so fucking much, no hate, Electric Kiss suprematists, but Korea disco was always superior and their main sound was always R&B, if SM scrapped it for trashy edm japanese discography-style mess, then, I'm out

I'm really worried. Marz is annoying but he put out some real bops and the fact the he got only one song out of 9/10 when they worked on more than that, is shady and scary, I won't ever forgive them for fucking up their best sounds, hun. What if they will rush it gain and fill the lbum with random old demos and UUUGHHHHH bitch

Yep he said he originally had a lot on the album but they were scrapped (if this is tru) and he also said he they had the title track and they lost it (was supposed to sound like kokobop + CMB or sumn)

 

Imma keep it real. I hated the kokobop breakdown so I don’t really mind that he lost the title/has less songs on it. And perhaps this gives us room for more exo participation in the album (lyrics,production...etc) since he isn’t monopolizing it anymore. And there are lots of producers who have made amazing tracks w/o marz (shout out to blooming days albums!!) so I’m actually a bit more optimistic if not happy there was a change lol

I hope the truth is not on me... I won't be throught this if their album will be filled with their J_sound, like, pls, no.

 

But well, the fact that so much was scrapped and changed pretty much suddenly and pretty much not long before comeback is worrying too. Why so? won't it be too rushed then? I would hope they know what they are doing, but I'm not that optomostic. They are capable of fucking up everything.

Also marz kinda said that album will be R&B filled, but now seems like the scrapped it too?

damn, pls, fuck promotions, variety, reality, just let the album be a bomb, EXODUS or The War level or better. This is only thing I ask

 

just adding this: look at credits and note which songs Marz (MZMC) worked on, then look me in the eyes and say you are not sad that most songs of his production were scrapped
