GirlBye 27,959 Posted May 15, 2018 Share Posted May 15, 2018 back in high school i had invisalign, but it didn't give me the results i wanted so i decided to get braces again my consultation was a year ago and since then i had to wear this appliance in my mouth that fixed my overbite finally i was able to get braces on during my consultation i clearly stated i wanted ceramic/clear braces, not the metal which they are charging me 8k for when i went in to get my braces, they didn't confirm with me or show me the brackets, just laid me down and started putting them in lord behold they put in metal! i know it's partially my fault since i should have confirmed but they had my file open on the computer it's petty but i really wanted ceramic since i am 21 and just feel self-conscious having all this metal in my mouth not to mention the money i've paid to get the clear Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dentists and doctors are always supposed to confirm, check and double check with the patient - it's how they avoid getting sued.
