5. Han Hyeri
Han-Hyeri.png
Han Hyeri was the popular cute-voiced P101 contestant who missed making it into the top 11 by one spot. Since then, she hasn't debuted in an official group. She was in C.I.V.A which was a fake group fro ma TV show that was pretty popular, but they only released one song. She was in IBI, who didn't have nearly as much success as JBJ and only promoted one song. She was also in Red Queen, another fake group from the show idolm@ster. Then she auditioned for Mix Nine and didn't even pass (that might have been a good thing tbh). She was also supposed to debut in a group under her old label, but that fell apart. Han Hyeri is the lowest on this list because when she does debut, she will likely have a lot of support. Her future isn't over yet, she's just had a rocky start.

4. Tae U (B.Heart)
haneul.jpg?w=584
Tae U debuted in BTL with the stage name Do.Ka. I personally think the song is pretty good, but it wasn't very popular because of the bad CGI and the group disbanded after one song. Then he joined the group Road Boyz and changed his stage name to Haneul. The group was involved in a controversy when they debuted because they were standing in front of senior groups at then ending ceremony of a music show. EXOLs were particularly irritated. The group made one more comeback and disbanded. Then he debuted in a group called B.Heart with a few fellow Road Boyz members. The group was involved in a plagiarism controversy for stealing choreography and melodies from various B2ST songs. The group has not disbanded yet but hasn't been active since 2017.

3. Euna Kim
Yuna%2BKim.jpg
Euna Kim started out as a trainee under YG. She knew she didn't want to be in the dungeon forever, so she switched companies and debuted with the Ark. Despite a popular debut, their company messed up their debut and disbanded after only one song. The girls were close, but they ended up walking different paths. Then she had to work as a waitress in an Italian restaurant in order to make money. Then she auditioned for Unpretty Rapstar Season 3, she did decent but didn't get super far. Now she is under Maroo company, who a notorious reputation of screwing over their artists (1PS, MyB). She said her company had no plans for her, so the Unit was her last chance. Euna Kim confessed that this would be her last reality show she auditioned for. Euna started out really popular and stayed in the top 9 for the entire competition. Unfortunately, she just barely missed the top 9 (She was #10) and her friend, Suji who was also in The Ark, ended up making it instead. Luckily, she is going to re-debut in a project group called KHAN with former The Ark member, Minju. Speaking of Minju, she also had a pretty rocky career.  When The Ark disbanded, she was supposed to debut in the group DAYDAY, but their debtu got cancelled.  KHAN really deserves attention. Please give her lots of support.

2. Blue Berry
bluberry-its-you-e1514880197627.jpg
Blue Berry debuted as a solo artist in 2011. Her solo career was somewhat popular but never took off so she debuted in the girl group Scarlet (who had two amazing bops) with the new stage name Rabyeul in 2014. The group disbanded after two songs and she joined the group Pocket Girls in 2016 with the stage name Junhee. After a few months, she left the group without ever making a comeback with the group and joined Cupid with the stage name Dohee. Then she auditioned for Mix Nine and did not pass. She left Cupid after this and made a comeback as a solo artist under the name Blue Berry again. Now, she is joining ANOTHER group called Icia and will likely change her stage name again. She has debuted 5 times and just can't seem to catch a break.

1. Heo Chanmi
chanmi1.jpg
You don't get any more unlucky than Chanmi. She was supposed to debut in SNSD way back in 2007. Many people say "I almost debuted in SNSD" because they were an SM trainee, but nobody was closer than Chanmi. She also was rumored to be a potential member of f(x), but that didn't happen so she left the company to join MBK. Again, she could have debuted in T-ara but didn't make the final cut (making this the 3rd iconic group she could have debuted in). She later debuted in Co-Ed School, a co-ed group managed by MBK. They had potential to be huge, but rumors were being spread about dating scandals and MBK struggles to protect their artists from scandals, so the group disbanded and formed 5dolls and SPEED. 5dolls also had potential, but rumors spread that Chanmi was a bully, so she left/kicked out of the group. The rumors have been proven false, by the way and she still is friends with some 5dolls members on Instagram. Flash forward to 2016 and Chanmi auditions for Produce 101. She was the biggest victim of evil-editing to make her seem arrogant and rude. The biggest example would be when she was watching Yeonjung nail the high note in Into The New World. Chanmi had a horrible voice crack and it was super embarrassing. Put yourself in her shoes: this was the group you were supposed to debut in and you screw up the big note. Then another trainee (who hasn't been training for nearly as long as you) comes out and nails it. I'd be pissed too (and I even believe MNET took her angry face from a different clip and inserted it). Then she was involved in a racism controversy where she posted on Instagram a clip with a monkey filter. Some troll commented "The Obamas" in English and she liked the post. The thing is, she liked every post people made in that post. She can't speak or read English, so she liked the post without knowing what it said. To this day people still claim Chanmi is a racist. Then she left her old company to debut in a new group. She used to be in Dublekick, Momoland's company and may have been added to the group if she stayed with the company because Dublekick added members to the group after their debut (including a less popular P101 member) and we all know how Momoland blew up. She was supposed to debut in a group called High Color and auditioned for Mix Nine. She did okay on the show but didn't make the top 9 (even if she did the debut would have been canceled). Then High Color's debut got canceled and her future is currently uncertain. Hopefully, she can debut as a solo artist because he charisma on stage is outstanding, she has unique visuals, she's a great dancer, and she has a good voice.

These artists are so determined and a lot of the hate they receive isn't their fault. Are there any other artists you think are super unlucky? Will you support any of these artists with their future activities?

3. Janey

D-Unit-Janey-gp-basic.jpg

In 2008, Janey debuted in the group Sweety when she was only eight years old.  Then she debuted in GP Basic.  The group was controversial because the members were so young.  Then she joined D-Unit (the most underrated group of all time) as a "guest member."  She then was on a show called "The Last Audition of My Life" which was basically the Unit before the Unit just not as popular.  She didn't do well and even if she did, the winning group did not make an impact; I don't even know if they ever debuted.  She returned to GP Basic in 2014, but people still didn't like the group (I don't know why because Pika-Burnjuck was a bop, they were older, and the choreography was cool). She left the group and joined Loen Entertainment.   She auditioned for Show Me The Money, but that didn't go very well.  Then she auditioned for Unpretty Rapstar Season 3 and lots of people thought she was irritating.  She left Loen and joined MBK.  She tried out for the Unit and got eliminated after the second round.  She is a victim of evil-editing because MNET tries to portray her as irritating and conceited, but she actually has a lot of friends from the show, including people 9 years older than her (Yeoeun of Melody Day) and her big "rival" (Euna Kim).  It's unknown what MBK will do with her.  Perhaps she could replace Eunjin of DIA. She's still young, but she's been trying to make it in the industry for over a decade. I actually like her husky rapping voice, she's gorgeous, and a good dancer.

Heo Chanmi is truly unlucky. SNSD, F(X), and T-ARA.

Honestly I think I would be suicidal if I was in her position. To come so close so many times from fame and glory and to fall short.

Its actually sad she seems to be done with the entertainment life. I don't think she is on Produce 48 and she seems to old to debut.

Truly unlucky. I feel really bad.

Maybe if The Unit has a 2nd season she can audition. She could also debut as a solo artist, she doesn't necessarily have to be in a group. I think she would put out some great stuff as a solo artist.  She could even be a vocal coach. There are still ways for her to be involved in the industry without being in the Spotlight.  I just hope she can be happy whatever she decides to pursue.

Chanmi should be a soloist. It's more than ten years, she must have the experience for now. And it should be really difficult to be friend with young trainees, it's not a surprise she didn't make it group after group, their bond will go to same age girls.

Now Eunha Kim and Jeon Minju will debut, it's time to support them.

Literally all of SPICA...

Bohyung was a JYP trainee as well as a YG trainee, and was supposed to be in 2NE1 but was booted last minute due to differences in musical style. Boa has been in the industry longer than most veteran idol groups from the 2nd gen (i.e Infinite, KARA, Rainbow etc.) and has been a vocal trainer for many of them. She was also a LOEN trainee for some time.

Sihyun used to be a DSP trainee as well, while Narae placed 8th on Supertstar K1. Jiwon was supposed to be in FIVE Girls but they never ended up debuting, she was also in the pre-debut lineup for T-ara but left due to again "creative differences".

When SPICA had the potential to blow up in 2014 with You Don't Love Me, they missed the mark by a few points due to AOA's Miniskirt sweeping wins.

And to top that cherry off they're all under a shit company who didn't do a thing with them as a group in 2015... gave them a generic single in 2016 and then disbanded them. ._.

Jiwon may be doing well now and Bohyung has her CFs (she also won Girl Spirit in 2016), however I can only hope they do even better in the future.

Creative differences lol. She is even still friends with the girls in T-ara. MBK sucks

Yeah, Spica has been super unlucky, but at least they're all doing their own thing right now and at least they were super close as a group and their friendship lives on. That's not something every group has, even famous ones.

What about Dani from MBK? She was a confirmed new member of T-ARA and then like F-Dolls and then she wasn't even considerated for DIA and now a 404 case.

I agree. She should do something similar to what Hwang In Sun is doing right now.

She's just under a terrible company (same company that screwed Chanmi over). I hope she can find a new company and debut

Honestly, Jiwon from The Unit

She struggled in 3 groups before The Unit, put on so much effort to debut and when she won she got sick and now has very few lines in the debut song

She's had a long hard run.  Poor girl delivered juice after Spica disbanded. She's so nice and humble too. I hope she can find success now and she recovers quickly.
