I love girls, so I created this thread with the purpose of tracking all standard CD sales by modern era girl groups, their respective sub-units and solo artists. If you find any mistake, please don't hesitate to correct me. I'm pedantic as hell and I need this chart to be as complete, accurate and clean as possible. My sources are Gaon for Korean albums and Oricon for Japanese albums.

Why are you only including sales from 2010 onwards?
Gaon was created in 2010, and I'm not interested in tracking not-Gaon Korean sales. For the time being, at least.

Why are you including singles sales?
This chart is meant to track all CD sales, irregardless of how many songs are burnt on 'em.

Why not Hanteo?
I don't fuck with demons.

Can you also do a chart like this for boy groups?
No.

But question why did you include LOONA's solos and sub-units?

LOONA's entire pre-debut marketing efforts revolve around these releases, so it felt right to me to include them.

Oh, I thought you will combine both GAON and ORICON sales for all albums.

 

Even though it will be a lil bit difficult for some albums because ORICON calculate a repackaged album into the original one (for example TCL1 only on oricon).
