timpa 6,547 Posted May 11, 2018 Share Posted May 11, 2018 I first started watching because I saw a trailer and the main female char (02) reminded me a lot of Anemone from Eureka 7 and that's one of my fav animes. In fact a conversation between 02 and Hiro is very similar to one between Dominic and Anemone when they are falling thru the sky. I feel bad for the kids tho. Spoilers since this is up to ep 16 its pretty obvious they are just genetically engineered to be disposable pilots for the Franxx. I doubt they can even physically mature into adults and just eventually die as teens, the one girl is getting white hairs already.
