The thing is, whether or not you think she did wrong/made a mistake, doesn't matter now. The public thinks she has made one, and people are mad at her because they feel like she has made one. So the right course of action isn't to maintain to people that "no she hasn't" because it'll only make them pissed even more. It'll be to apologize, and then hope than in the future, people will get new information about the situation that will make them reflect on why they were so harsh on her while she didn't deserve it in the first place. Right now, she needs PR damage control, the actual truth doesn't matter much anymore, not as long as the heat doesn't die down first, not as long as people get the apology they want, not as long they don't see Yunjin herself look miserable, apologetic and sorry (even crying if needs be). Then they'll feel bad about it and revisit the whole situation.

 

It ain't fair or just, but this is how these kinds of show work, and how Koreans work, sadly.

yeah I know.. its a sad reality really. I won't go around claiming she did nothing wrong, it's just my personal opinion.

 

This will most likely hurt her a lot emotionally but I hope she stays strong and it's all worth it at the end. She's the reason I'm even following the show. Kaeun made me watch it but yoonjin made me stay.

Right now the point isn't to convince those hardcore haters tbh. It's to convince the majority of people that are kinda on the fence about her because of what she did, but would gladly support her again if she shows she's human and has reflected over what she did.

 

The hardcore haters will always be there, but if the general public is turned around in her favor again, nothing's gonna stop her, and those haters whill get called out much more, and feel like their hateful opinions are much less welcome and legitimate, and they'll keep it to themselves.

 

Again, this is just PR damage control, there's always gonna be haters anyway, but the core audience of Yunjin doing any sort of apology wouldn't be them anyway. They don't matter.

When I click on the notification button (the bell on the top right corner) the notifications don't show at all. Like this:

 

 

This is the reason why using emojis in usernames is prohibited (my notification bar was broken all the damn time at some point, because people with emojis in their names kept requesting badges in the request a badge thread). But the effect is the same regardless of the emoji being in the username, or the title of the thread, since both of those information are being mentioned in the notification menu when you click on the little bell icon.
