Wonyoung was my fave right from the beginning and watching her journey was such a joy. She's so amazing.

 

I was actually worried for a bit because of the voting from the past few weeks. The entire season was a total rollercoaster with the perfect ending!

 

In addition to WY, most of the girls I really liked made it, so I'm super excited and happy right now.

I lived through P101 with Somi as my bias. There was a MASSIVE amount of hate towards her. I'm sure Season 2 was similar. There is something about this show that brings out the worst in people.

 

The huge mess right now is normal, too, based on Season 1 and 2. It was clear from the start that the international community was HEAVILY biased towards the Japanese girls. A lot of Jpop fans are hurting, so they are going to sling mud and accusations everywhere, especially at Wonyoung.

 

I was really impressed with how poised Wonyoung was during the entire season. In Korea, she isn't getting hated on that badly. She seems to be handling the pressure really well.

Some people were saying that for Japanese promotions, Sakura will probably be center. WY will be center for Korean promotions. Think that's true?

Just ignore the haters, she is a perfect center and I know she will shine even more <3

 

In Korea, fans gave her the nickname Motae-center a while ago, which means something like born-center or born-to-be-center. News articles actually called her that, too. Yujin says it several times during the last episode when they were discussing her center evaluation video.

Being Wonyoung fan is so hard.

Sometimes I just hate everyone.

I am sure most of you felt that at least once.

There is no safe place you can love her in peace.

 

I think the only 'safe' places are basically this thread and the Izone thread. If there is any negativity, we can report it. Unfortunately, there are always crappy people who break the forum rules. 

 

Reddit is no. For twitter and tumblr, it's fine if you only follow WY fansites.

 

The way I deal with it is to remember that WONYOUNG WON! SHE IS THE CENTER! She's so talented and gorgeous now. Imagine how even amazing she will become. She's already on the path to accomplishing so much and achieving her dreams.

 

She has plenty of fans in Korea and Japan, which is what is really important. The other members are really protective of her and will take care of her.

 

These haters can stew in their bitter and salty soup all they want. Nothing will change the facts. They are ruining their own experience. They are spending all their valuable free time hating, instead of actually enjoying Kpop. It's so stupid.

She looks absolutely beautiful in the teasers. Like stunningly beautiful. And her proportions are wow.

 

I've seen a lot of Korean comments comparing her favorably to a young Jun Jihyun. That's a HUGE compliment. (I've also seen a lot of Korean comments worrying that she might keep growing taller, haha.)

The really positive comments about Wonyoung in the netizenbuzz translations are the types of comments I've been seeing on Korean social media in the past months. They really like her over there.

 

(Not to be too petty, but I laughed thinking about the haters' reactions to the translations. They probably clicked it expecting to see Nate hating on her, but nope, even Nate loves her.)

I keep listening to her english greeting at show-con. So freaking cute. 

 

I read a couple korean fanaccounts from the fansign saying how beautiful she is in person. There is another long fanaccount which I'm struggling to read, but all the replies are saying that she's an angel. Really sweet personality.

 

One fan asked her how she joined Starship. She said she was found by street casting.

One of the many reasons why it's awesome that she won P48. We are more likely to get fancams and solo cams. I love fancams.

 

I'm noticing that the dislikes/downvotes/hate from salty morons are decreasing nowadays. I also see a lot more positive comments, especially about how she's a great center. Even for the haters, it's impossible to watch one of their performances and not see just how amazing she is. And she's continuing to get a lot of love in Korean forums.
