I think she's either Korean or Korean Chinese. She looks so Korean to me and I know Yuehua has a few Korean trainees on PD48 like Choi Yena and Sihyun. If she was Chinese she would of went to PD101 China. I may be wrong though.

We have Hwang mostly (the hangul listed up there is for our Hwang.) I think Yireon is rather strange as a given Korean name. But hey, I got kicked out of Korean school so what do I know. lol

 

Could go either Chinese or Korean but probably Chinese. Or maybe a Korean Chinese (Korean ethnics born in China.)

From the name alone she's Chinese, but her Korean pronunciation isn't that good. So I'd only assume she's Chinese the first time I saw her intro vid. It's not that confusing to tell tbh.
