My experience as a Polling agent (PA) for this election

It's going to be long but everyone should be aware about it.

Today is the general election. So this my first time voting and volunteer as a polling agent.

To make it simple, there are three parties that are the citizens' choices, plant, cup and kettle. I change the parties' name to make them anonymous.

Plant is the clean one. Cup is the corrupted one. Kettle is the extremely religious who plans to turn my country into Islamic Republic. The Cup has used various way to stay in power including cheating during previous election just search blackout GE13. You'll get all the info there lol

My mom invited me to become a volunteer counting agent (CA) for the Plant. I agree because I was curious about it and it will be a good experience.

For the volunteers during the election, there were three shifts. The job as a Polling agent was to make sure that the voting process goes smoothly. The first one from 7am to 10am and 2.45pm to end of vote counting process. Second shift is from 10am to 12.30pm. third shift from 12.30pm to 2.45pm. Me and my mom took the third shift. The crucial one is the volunteers for the first shift because they have to be aware of all the cheating techniques by used by the governmental officials that are affiliated to the Cup.

Here is my proof as a volunteer polling agent

Since we were told to gather by 11.30am at the Plant's operational room. So we went to each polling station to vote first before having heavy lunch since we will be on the third shift. By 11.30am, we were given Polling Agent (PA) name tag along with pink paper, white paper and copy of our IC. The leader of the PA gave us instruction on not to take anything out except our stuffs, name tag and pink paper. He told us that the voting chairman would request for the pink paper, white paper and copy of IC. He instructed us to give the papers except the pink paper.

When there is a shift change, the voting process suppose to pause for the new PA to become familiar with the items on the table and the environment. So when I started the voting process after make sure everything is there. It was hot and sunny day but everyone showed up regardless just to exercise their right to vote which motivates me to watch closely on the voting process during my shift. Since my area that I was in charge was mostly consist of young voters and the first clerk was reading the voters' details so I have to tell him to repeat many times. Although that, I managed to crossed out all the voters that already voted. Surprisingly, the voting process goes smoothly. I watched the process until I change shift with the next person.

Overall it's a good experience ohbi.png

PS,

I heard that there are many Cup's dirty tactics to stay in power was,

1) intentionally give ballot papers to the overseas voters at the last minute which makes them panic that the papers won't make it in time like below,

2) They won't let voters in even if they were inside before 5pm,

Even if someone told them not to move because it's their right,

3) Phantom voters have come back,

This is all I could say.

If there is anything happen in malaysia which related to this, please inform me to delete this thread. Dont let them detect me.
