Or if the seller is a scalper there is the chance that the ticket will be made invalid if they discover they bought a bunch of tickets and are now selling them online for exorbitant prices. If worse came to worse, and you get there and the ticket doesn't work, I'd try going to visitor services at the venue and seeing if they have a seat you can purchase from them the night of (very likely considering a lot of scalpers will start returning tickets the closer the date to the event gets). I did regret it a bit because I noticed some of the seats adjacent to my seats were sold back to Ticketmaster the day before. Several of those seats sold for less. My advice is, if you are in the area of the concert, try buying from the box office or Ticketmaster the day of the concert. There were still around 200-300 tickets left just hours before the concerts, so as long as you are not picky about seating, you should be able to find tickets.
