Anyone who is self aware and is invested in kpop knows how fast western trends that concern black culture are consumed here. Most probably they'll dilute this to a performance trend and drop all important racial connotations. Self awareness meaning to not stan blindly, some people can supress their morals and ideals in favour of their idols by overlooking any transgressions against them. Using black culture while remaining or maintaining racist / ignorant characterisations is just as important of a topic yet it's happening so really is what I'm saying farfetched ?
