This is really interesting to hear from an SA member and see how things really go down. First they say they watch videos from the artists they want to invite as reference. In Winner's case they watched the legendary Dongguk uni fancam that really proved RR's Impact last year

 

 

They also talked about the struggle of casting male idol groups in case it fails. About that I read a comment that might explain why. Girls react well to both GGs and BGs but boys do not give great reactions to bgs, hence why it's important to cast a group that appeals to both boys and girls. Also YG artists are not cheap (he called him pig-headed lmao) so the fees must be high af. Also interesting to note how Winner was only booked for a few festivals and YG called it a day. But THEY were the ones to insist in accepting more offers as opposed to what was originally planned (kings of making things happen for themselves as always)

So basically, YG is literally rejecting so many offers for W but W comes forward and made Uni Festival as exception. Wow. Kings. They really know how to leave impression and do promo on their own. We love legends.

 

I am glad WINNER is at that level where public trust and listen to their music. I hope it continues. These artists are well loved by public hence the invitation.

Well, I can see why bgs are considered a risk... I mean most bgs have to suffer this "masculinity" issue when males won't pay attention to them even if they like them. It's weird....

 

I wish winner got more freedom like Psy (tho that's almost impossible). I mean they and team winner do all the work anyway... Don't interfere with your dumb ideas YG!

You know when Jinwoo said on RaSeu abt "YG artists never leave their waiting room", right? They're trying to break all that stuff even from the littlest detail like that. Expected from YG they tried everything to make winner less successful lol. But winner always work hard and everything they had achieved right now because of their own effort, from variety shows, drama, and now this. There is no YG package deals for them

Yes the boys are super outgoing and they aren't afraid of approaching other singers, be it seniors or juniors. We got them interacting with sunbaes like Suju, TVXQ and EXO and they gave them so much love. You could see they genuinely liked them and it speaks volume on how well mannered Winner are behind the scenes. We also got Golden Child boys talking about how shocked they were upon receiving signed CDs from Winner when they're seniors to them. The boys are just lovely, hardworking and humble and that's why they will keep making connections that will help their career. YG should NEVER take credit for how successful they are rn, he ain't doing shit.

I’ll never understand YG’s exclusivity. If their schedules allow them, why not accept the offer? As an agency, they should be the one making and seeking jobs for them. Yet here’s YG who denies the offers and opportunities given to their artists.

Happy that my 4 men are not playing and take care of their own schedules when it's necessary. Winner is the kind of group that appeals so much to people in their 20's so it's no surprise that many uni students want them.
