Best Tips/Medicines to Combat Pollen Allergies

˹AS˼

Recommended Posts

So when pollen season hits, I get VERY VERY bad allergies to the point where I can't open my eyes or breathe through my nose.

As of now, my current medicine method which IS WORKING! is as followed

Alaway Eye Drops 12 Hour - 1x A Day

Nasacort Nose Allergy Spray 24 Hour - 1x a Day [2 sprays on each nostril]

Zyrtec 24 Hour Allergy Pills - Once before I go to Bed, and one the next day in the afternoon

I usually wake up feeling stuffy and with itchy eyes but after using the Alaway and Nasacort, I can feel better within 20 minutes. My allergies became increasingly less severe and I only get the occasional sneeze which is why I take another Zyrtec for extra measure.

So if anyone of you have pollen allergies and have effective methods, please post them here!!

Seems like you take an awful lot of meds to treat something like hayfever. My sister has hayfever but all she does is take one tablet of over the counter antihistamine tablets during the pollen season or when her allergies flare up to relieve her systems. Works very well.

Over the counter allergy medications do not work for me.

I've tried them all.

The doctor prescribed me with a strong nasal spray that works. Plus, I use one-a-day contacts now, and that helps too.
