It's not even what he said. It's the fact that now, as I look on my timeline, there are actually morons with lack of historical knowledge saying shit like, with a SERIOUS face,

 

"Well he has a point, why did they chose to live 400 years enslaved instead of revolting? Fear of death is not an excuse and they chose to live their lives miserably"

 

"I don't need to know much about history to learn that 400 years of a bad situation is because they lacked will and cohesive planning"

 

I am frankly much more disgusted at these idiots with their lack of logic and historical understanding than I actually am at Kanye.

 

Thinking revolting in those days being dehumanized to the very core was as easy as quitting a job you hate. Absolutely fucking embarrassing.

There's no context in which he's correct. Slavery, in any location, at any point in history, is not a choice. It wouldn't be called slavery if it was a choice.
