My mom suddenly gets mad and told me to spend my money wisely. I got mad because this is my first time going to the concert and she criticize me for spending that much money just for this concert????? I ask her why can't I use my money to enjoy. She told me to spend it where I can really 'enjoy'. I was frustrated and told her not to dictate my life. Next time, I'm not going to tell her when I'm going for a concert. As you grow up your parents will have less to say on what you do, as long as you're not doing anything illegal or dangerous of course. Just don't be mean, no matter if they're mean, let love win over misunderstandings. I have no idea why, Your mother is just concerned you grow up to be someone who can't control her spending impulses and fails at life because of that. She wishes you no ill. If she can spend on her retreats that she enjoy why can't I spend on something that I enjoy thats the problem: she doesnt know your spending habits. she perhaps went also the wrong way about it by being condescending (i assume) about it but you also perhaps did not consider her ignorance about your positive qualities. She mentioned that my grandmother was pissed because I spent so much money...it wasn't even my mum's money.I actually went for a few concerts and fanmeetings without telling my mum,guess I have to go back to doing that.
