Kind of dangerous mistake of the stylist unnie

Heels needs to be taped for dancing

My bby got criticised for looking uncomfortable on stage in this performance...

We were wondering why.

Her shoes wasnt taped like at all. They performed on streets and her shoes was slipping of constsntly so she was late for some moves and overall havent look comfortable.

This is how taped shoes looks and its used to increase stability and to stop the heels from slipping off.

Wonder why they keep the stylist unnie tbh.

In past she made Gowoon to perform/spin/bend in frilled skirt with no safety pants so her stripped panties was exposed to whole world even though most fans censored it or havent uploaded her cams at all. She was barely 15yo internationally at that time.

Made them perform in summer dresses with bare legs, arms and stomach on frozen river.

Now this... Could end with serious ankle injury. Not even talking about her adding some tacky detail which ruins the outfit completel.

Like the tassels from Dont believe for example.

Sigh.

Share stories of your faves with useless stylists. And no, Irenes short skirts doesnt count since short skirts are standart for kpop.

Oh I didn't know taped heels were a thing. That's so smart

There are three ways how to dance / run / jump around safely in heels... You tape it, use silicon pads on the inside of the shoes or wear heels which are designed to have straps around ankle. :/ None of it was used in this case.

The other member (Taeha) didnt have her boots taped neither so she spend half of the live (busking event) with pulling it back up.

If only they were allowed to just dance in comfortable shoes... Heels really don't add much to performances to me

I know how to balance 2*2 liter coke bottles in one armpit going home from the supermarket but really not how girls

are able to balance ...

In fact Gowoons legs look like she has fallen a few times in training :/

They should wear longer but their stylist is far from the worst...

Gfriend wore it too.

And its not as bad as the thing Sojin got to perform Ring my bell in.

Even SNSD Yuri did this and it was like totally different era

But then we got Grade 7 Class 1 which was made to perform choreo where they put up their skirts in actual panties without shorts under it. Or Hwayoung who got no bra and strapless top to perform shuffle dance. :/

Also with genie the white outfit

You could see some of the girls cheekbutts specially Yuri, Pany and Hyo

Unpopular opinion I actually like the DB tassels, it's quirky enough to make them stand out. The rest tho :wth: the most I've seen was indecent exposure like with GsD and AOA but the shoes thing can actually endanger them :wth:

Keep up with all these threads about them btw I love it

Yes, I just learned a bit more about it. But the girls have no say on this stuff? After all they are the artists, all should be made to let them perform at best way possible.

No idol has any say in anything. You have to be superpopular and senior idol to get some rights to say anything about your outfits, songs, whatever. Its not as in the west. Company control everything.

I really don't know how I feel about this. :-( It seems very very unfair, and at the same time the girls did chose being an idol. Very mixed feelings about it. I really really hope they are happy.

To be fair, I am trying to learn about Korean culture since "I don't Believe "and it has been a wild ride so far.
