katsu curry chips 7,808 Posted April 30, 2018 Author Share Posted April 30, 2018 can somebody explain to me again why its only the three members in this comeback? is it a unit? it's a pop up album haha, i think they made it sort of a "half-cb" mostly because jiho's injury but that's just my guess. but it was also a way to showcase OMG's Day concept with 3 of the most popular members in the centre while not going all out with promotional costs. it's been a successful cb in lots of ways than just musically and i think that was the plan. for example they had a collab with LOTTE and launched a great deal of BAM themed merch with much success. it can be seen as a gift to fans but also as a different marketing strategy. and a way to explore OMG's breadth conceptually before the next cb Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

katsu curry chips 7,808 Posted April 30, 2018 Author Share Posted April 30, 2018 hmm are you sure they are the most popular of them? what about mimi, yooa, seunghee? than a unit cb would have been much better and easier to understand than thisor what!? but if it been successful than fine ^^ they're all very popular but i guess binnie has her japan hype (and they're debuting in japan at some point), arin is hot commodity rn and hyojung has a pretty sizeable korean fandom too. i think they were primarily paired that way because it suits their vocals, and due to jiho not being able to fully participate. and i think it was also to fill the gap between full comebacks. idrk how to explain it. if you're a miracle then it makes sense, bc it was very OMG. it's also possible that just like other groups with a more fickle following units are an easier and more economical way to explore different concepts, so maybe they'll do other units in the future. sorry you didn't enjoy this one tho Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
