I agree

Though I think they do it because Kcon KNOWS they can make some money off dedicated fangirls

yeah but it's also why they fill the bare minimum quota of like 1 or 2 ggs bc they know gg stans will haul ass

I agree with you, but maybe if ggroups fans actually bought tickets to see them... it's even harder if it's not a top tier ggroup, whereas its more likely boy groups fans will buy tickets to see them, even those not well known

i mean...you can't exactly buy tickets if there's like one (1) gg in the lineup. i'd go to kcon if there was like an even ratio of bgs to ggs.

i know as usual

funny how people were begging for them not to that and they did it again. i was thinking of going because i live in the area but it's not worth the effort at this point and two bg i like will tour anyway ...

i went to the first year of kcon ny and there were two ggs and two bgs. it was perfect

that sounds amazing. maybe just up it to 3 ggs and 3 bgs and you get your money's worth and everyone is happy

the organization was a mess because they were just getting started with having it on the east coast but i really appreciated that they did that. tbh i never really thought much about it until i actually watched them on stage. idk how to put it into words, it was refreshing? and it's a little strange in a way because i would say that i'm much more of a bg stan. the girls were really fun

and then the next year in 2016 - 2/9 of the performers/groups were female and i had no interest in going anymore and tbh i think it was partially because of this?

and then again in 2017 - 2/9 groups were female as well. rme. they just don't even care
