Didnt she kinda leveled up into producer / manager role of her groups theater? She also won after dating / sex scandal and was first n1 ever from sister group (if Im not mistaken). Out of 9 elections she placed n1 four times, once n2. Plus her down to earth attitude is adorable and tbh her variety sense is great.

yes I know, it just not a name I expected. in another forum some wotas mostly wanted the original kami7 (or some older generations members) to come to the show as guests, but I barely know any of them named sasshi.

Its just that for typical Korean idol consumers somebody like Sasshi would be serious overkill tbh. :D And if we take her achievments it wouldnt even be that weird if she mentored new gen of idols.

It would be great. Sasshi is a growing into her producer/mangement role and she would probably help those traines be more relax and make variety better. She did helped trained HKT members. She's also pretty blunt too

Lol you can't be serious insinuating that she'd be more qualified and had more experience as mentor/trainer for vocals, dancing or rapping than the mentors that were already chosen. She's not talented nor skillful in any of these areas. Do you really see her as better than/strong vocalist like Hongki? Being great dancers as/better/more experience in dancing than those choreographers and 1million studio dancers? Can rap like Cheetah? lel Those mentors were chosen for their talent, knowledge and experience in their level of expertise and the ability to guide and train trainees based on their experience. Sasshi does not fit in any of those criterias. Just because she had various experience in producing and possibly more overall experience in the industry, =/= having the competency to train and teach the trainees in those particular talent field. Also, the role of the producer lies on the hand of the public as they choose and vote who they want to see in the final line-up, so, the role of Sasshi The Producer is not needed here. However, if there was a "variety" category, I can see Sasshi fit as a mentor for that really well. Just not vocals, dancing and rapping lol. Hypothetically speaking, if the show wanted to get mentors from the J-side, they should get some people, for example, on the talent and experience level of Misia/Ayaka/MayJ(vocals), The EXILE guys/E-girls (dancing), and AK-69/Ai (rapping). Otherwise getting Sasshi as mentor would further push the stereotype/ignorance which the Koreans view Japanese artists/idols as being inferior and less talented than the ones from their country. As much as I love the 48g idols, I mean, c'mon, lbr here.

So I thought you meant permanent mentor in dance, vocals and such since that what Produce mentors usually do. Produce shows don't have mentors in charge of managing/producing idol groups. That's the real managers' and producers' jobs. Manager/producer =/= mentor/trainer.

 

Sounds like someone's pressed and being out of spite just because I'm being honest about Sasshi's talent. Lmao. And guess what, Sasshi's skills in managing and producing no matter how good she is not needed nor relevant in Produce. This show never recruits idols who aspire to become managers/producers and form their own idol groups. Meanwhile, those permanent mentors may not have that level of experience in managing people, production and variety as Sasshi but their talent, experience and expertise is relevant and needed in this show.
