I think my family is in between. Not rich but not average either.

My mom is poor enough that she won't get an estimate on her bathroom repairs because she can't afford to get it fixed anyway, so why bother knowing, from her perspective.

 

Most of my family lives paycheck to paycheck.

My family is more poor than average. Because the only adult in my family is my mom and she's the only one who's working. And she has a bad paid job.

My family isn't but they've never had money problems and we've always had holidays abroad as children. 

 

Personally I do quite well, I'm not working right now but I don't feel the pressure so much because I've made a lot in the past so that I can still support myself.

About as poor as you get. If my grandparents hadn't left us their house, I doubt we'd even have a place to live.  Well, things are better now than they used to be because now all three of us children are old enough to work.
