They had a corner where they were supposed to send msg to their future selves and he chose Heart as the song he would want his future self to listen to, because of the lyrics: "You don't need to recognize me, you don't need to find me but the light that doesn't go out, it shines brightly here, it will shine forever". This is really deep and here's the msg Jinwoo sent to his future self: "The Kim Jinwoo of 2018 wants to tell you that he hopes you're not that worn out. Please don't be that worn out" (literal translation: don't rust) He then sang the verse he talked about (his voice is so sweet) Click here to view the Tweet Seungyoon replied: "That was so nice, it makes me choke up. 'I hope you haven't rusted' feels like Jinwoo-hyung of 2018 is saying he's still alive and his 'light' hasn't gone out yet, it was very nice" trans: Chrissy --- Winner is a group that pays attention to lyrics a lot. Not only I'm happy he chose an IU song but I'm also glad he mentioned the lyrics and what they meant for him. It was a very sincere, touching and meaningful segment. Yeah he had the shortest cover out of all 4 but that's because he only sang the part of the lyrics he liked the most. I wish he would sing the whole song too, it's my first time hearing a male sing Heart and his tone is so nice. And yeah the whole segment was amazing. If you see which songs each member chose and how they explained the meaning it had for them, for their future etc. Winner boys really have deep thoughts that's for sure.
