BTS Love Yourself Series Prediction & Theory

I'm not sure if this is already done, but I'm a native Chinese speaker so I wonder if I can help shed some light?

We know that their concept for the Love Yourself series is based loosely on the Chinese proverb èµ· 承 轉 åˆ, or in english known as the dramatic structure of a story plot.

èµ· exposition, 承 rising action, 轉 climax, åˆ/çµ resolution

For their last album LY:HER 承
The word 承 in the proverb also means to undertake/commit to/affirm the beginning statement or introduction.

We know know that the exposition èµ· (which means begin) is LY:Wonder, or Euphoria "You are the cause of my euphoria~" which is a straightforward message to fans.

And so in part two (LY:HER 承), the album further elaborates on what ARMY means to BTS. We have DNA where they say ARMY and BTS are destined to be together. Serendipity is similarly Namjoon expressing his thoughts and feelings towards the existence of ARMY. We also have Pied Piper. In fact, the entire album felt like a dedication to fans in gratitude.

轉 in Chinese translate to turn, meaning "turning point" in the proverb. So LY:TEAR is 轉 is the turning point and climax to the whole Love Yourself theme. This aligns with the rumor that the theme this time may be darker than previous ones.

My guess is they will go over and beyond in connecting with the fans. In return for all the support fans have given them, they want to save us instead. Our turning point. Each one of us learning to love ourselves.

Remember the LOVE YOURSELF Highlight Reel?

What if the girls interacting with the members are YOU AND ME, THE FANS? We are the girls. They're trying to save us.

A lot of the members have been spreading similar messages:

- that they want to hear our story and connect with us through music, bring us happiness (namjoon)

- that we should take care of ourselves more instead of worrying for them, that we should think of him to be happy  (jimin's recent vlive)

- the unicef #ENDviolence campaign they're spearheading

SO. GUESSING THE TITLE TRACK NAME FOR UPCOMING ALBUM - maybe something along the lines of SALVATION/REDEMPTION or SAVIOR. Or Self Respect. It might even just be Love Youself.

Lastly, I'm assuming LY:Answer çµ will be the last album of the series and something similar to what Young Forever was to hyyh la.gif

edit: It was floating around online that last part is LY:Epiphany? Epiphany for the intro. Still aligns... (thanks @armink_)

Not sure about everything else, but girls are actually real girls in the world members' characters live, they even mentioned in Notes for LY:HER, I personally think that they are boys friends/ girlfriends/ sisters. But I like your theory, it seems interesting and you might be right.

Ah, I've been meaning to read all of the Notes for LY:HER and haven't gotten around to it. That's interesting though. When I watched it at first I thought maybe they were symbolic because there were some parallels of the girls to other bts members from earlier storylines.

Besides Ryujin, I thought the other girls seemed like strangers to the members at the beginning...

At this point, we're probably all wrong and bighit is just laughing at us
