my parents are still together although they don't live together..it's weird but they're still married, they just live in different countries. their relationship is completely fine, though. and I see the parent I don't live with (my dad) a few times a year. I just saw him the other week actually

well i would never live with my dad but then my mom got remarried without telling me too so i wouldn't live with any of them tbh. My mom still hasn't told me she got remarried in secret. I found out through gossip.

And yes i still talk to them because they're still my parents and im still a student. I wanna break free but i have reasons why i can't.

My parents divorced when I was 7 and I ended up living with my mom with occasional visits to my dad's house. I live on my own now, but I've noticed now that in my adult life I talk to my mom a lot more than my dad and I have a closer bond with her than I do my father. My dad and I seldom speak; maybe once a month at most, whereas with my mom we speak every few days.

My mom always had custody of me since I was born. She gave birth to me and my twin brother at the age of 13 with my biological father, who is just a scumbag and also at the time definitely wasn't under the age of 18. The only father figure in my life that I have known since I was a child is my step-father. I didn't even care about my real father growing up and he showed up when I was in middle school. Right now my father is in jail because his ex-wife caught him having sex with her 15 y.o daughter not that I am surprised with it.

my parents separated when I was 3 and I ended up living with my grandma, I lost contact with my father but I go to my mother's house every summer. I feel kind of out of place sometimes but she is super nice to me and always makes me super cute dresses lol

They divorced over 8 years ago whe i was like 5/6 y/o. Me and my sister live with our mom and for 8 years long we see our dad one weekend in 2 weeks. In the first few years it got me heartbroken and i missed him so much, but now he lives 3 street from us so we can visit him when we want

My parents separated in 2015. Should’ve been divorced 15 years ago.

I live with my dad but I’m still closer to my mother. My dad is a dick, he treats me like shit but I don’t take shit from him, so we’re always fighting and yelling at each other. I talk to my mom every day, see her a couple times a week maybe.

Their split was a rocky development for years ultimately leading up to a divorce. When my mom eventually had enough and found another place, she planned to take all the kids with her. I felt bad for my dad tho (in the sense that his kids wouldn't be in his company anymore) so I stayed with him for a couple months before I eventually went to live with my mom and siblings.

Now everyone is on good terms. My mom and dad are better friends than when they were married; they talk all the time, it's cute. I think my sis sorta ships them in wishful thinking

I'm for sure closer to my mom cause she was always there. I'm not that close with my dad, but we still talk. He actually taught me how to drive and I just got my license a couple weeks ago

My parents split when i was like 6. It all happened pretty quick, we had to leave overnight before my dad finds out. It was for the right reasons and i could already understand that back then, but it still has done its damage and caused some other stuff to happen, which has left me scarred. I've seen my dad maybe twice after that, haven't had any contact with him since.
