There's so many good songs from the 90s. Here's a few

I think a lot of the songs Beni does on her cover albums are from the 90s. Maybe you can checking those out too though those are in English.

This is a funny question because the 90s is the peak of Japanese music.

Look at the Oricon Top 50 for every year in the 90s and blindly pick a song. It's probably good lol.

Good lord you opened a can of worms.

My favs

TRF masquerade - TK at his finest. The mind bending wailing electric guitar + rave music = genius

This is an enka classic. Horiuchi Takao was part of a folk band Alice before he branched into Enka and is considered one of the genre's greatest.

ZARD was also a big name in the 1990s. Her brand of pop-rock was representative of the early 1990s "Being-Kei" boom that was very popular during the time.

Rhythm Emotion is probably my favourite Anisong, this is when anisongs are starting to become a distinct genre and the electronica elements with synthesised strings are hallmarks of the anisong back then.

Of course I knew this. I've also looked at the oricon top 50 for every year in the 90s and i've already made a list for my video, I just want some more suggestion. The title may be slightly misleading imstupid.png .

Lol that's true. There are like a few years in the 90s where the top 15-20 yearly surpassed 1 million copies and more.

This list lacks one of the biggest idol acts in the late 90s so here goes:

Garasu no Shounen - #2 song in 1997

Aisareru yori Aishitai

Zenbu Dakishimete

to Heart

There are a few more from this duo in the 90s, will have to look at other sites first.
