CrayCray 2,636 Posted April 20, 2018 Share Posted April 20, 2018 I mean, I have never ever thought in my small mind someone so handsome would ever have the slightest interest in me but from what I'm starting to read off his actions, I think he might be. A few days ago, he told someone I was one of his two favorite people in our workplace. I was quite taken aback but I didn't think anything of it. Then a day after that, he started talking to me...more openly. He's usually serious (and I mean serious) but somehow he acted more playful around me. The other strange thing was, he started pointing out RANDOM things like calling me into the office to tell me he found three dollars worth of change inside a file cabinet; coming out from his office to point out how he only just noticed that the front side of the American dollar bill is wider than the backside , how the soles of his shoes don't leave footprints when he walks on wet floors... I work in a restaurant and usually he'll make his own food but this time he asked me "What should we eat tonight?", I found it weird for him to ask me so I asked "For all of us? :D *circling my finger indicating all the employees*" and he was like "No, both of us", my head was swirling *whuuuut? O.o* but I gave him an answer anyway...He had also offered me a piece of cake he was eating and gave me his hat. I've been working with this guy for almost a year and a half and he's never talked to me so much and never gave me this much attention until yesterday. I also caught him staring at me during his meeting with the other managers I don't know if he is actually interested in me but even if he is, I won't do anything about it just bcuz I know his other favorite person is really cool and she has a HUGE crush on him and expresses her love for him very openly to me. Sometimes she'll joke around saying things like "You'll come to our wedding, right?" or "We're gonna have a baby together" and even "He loves me but he won't admit it" to which I give her the same answers for every question related to him with a nod of my head and a thumbs up every time. I think she almost got jealous one time when she saw the guy and I smile at each other bcuz we were joking about some leftover food left in the fridge. And they're not even dating? Okay, wow, I don't think I would date her AT ALL if I was the hot manager. People who get overly jealous when they're not even a thing scare the hell out of me. Gosh.....She's a smart girl and she's graduating this year from university and working two jobs so I seriously thought she'd get a chance with him but knowing how she is personally...maybe that's why he never asked her out. Workplace relationships can indeed become a problem, gotta take that into account. But if you're not interested then case closed, right? No need to play around.
